AF408 Affirm High-Back Task Chair
The Office Master AF408 is the entry model in the Affirm cushioned-back range, a fully upholstered high-back task chair with a contemporary, rectilinear look that reads equally well at a desk, in a private office or around a conference table.
It runs OM's Simple Synchro mechanism: the seat and back tilt together in a fixed ratio, with a single locking position and a tension knob to match the sitter's weight. That is the right specification for most desk users, enough movement to avoid a static posture, without a bank of controls nobody will learn.
The seat is built with an extra waterfall curve at the front edge to reduce pressure behind the knees, and adjusts for depth so the same chair fits a range of leg lengths.

Arms are chosen above: go armless, or add KR-25 height-adjustable arms (+$40.00) or KR-200 height- and width-adjustable T-arms (+$66.00). Office Master also builds more than 30 other armrest options across Groups AR, 1 and 4, from fixed cantilever arms up to 4D height, width, depth and pivot-adjustable models, ask us if you need one of those.
