AF508 Affirm Mesh High-Back Task Chair

The Office Master AF508 is the high-back version of the Affirm mesh chair. The taller "frameless" mesh back carries support up through the shoulder blades, which is what most people are actually looking for when they say a chair does not support them, the mid-back models stop below that point.

It also runs a wider seat than the AF504 (20.5" against 19"), so it is the more comfortable specification for larger sitters and for anyone who shifts position through the day. In practice this is the Affirm model that works as both a full-time task chair and a conference or private-office chair.

The Simple Synchro mechanism keeps seat and back moving together with one locking position and a weight tension knob, simple enough that it gets set once and used, rather than ignored.

Mesh, arms and options

Mesh is supplied in Nightfall Black as standard, with Starlight Silver at no upcharge. A knitted "Neighborhood Collection" backrest overlay is optional in nine colors, and a coat rack (CTR) is available on high-back mesh models. Seat upholstery price shown is Grade 1; Grades 1 through 5 plus LG1-Evita leather, LG2-Lena and LG3-Volcano are all selectable above, and C.O.M. is available on request.

Arms are chosen above: go armless, or add KR-25 height-adjustable arms (+$40.00) or KR-200 height- and width-adjustable T-arms (+$66.00).
