YES YS-72 Mid Back

The Office Master YES YS-72 is the starting point of the YES range, a mid-back task chair pairing a mesh back with a cushioned, lightly saddle-contoured upholstered seat. It is a sensible general-purpose desk chair for open-plan floors, admin workstations and home offices, and one of OM's longest-running and most proven models.

The combination is the point. A full-mesh chair breathes but gives you a taut seat; a fully upholstered chair is soft but traps heat against the back. The YS-72 takes the back from one and the seat from the other. Its Simple Multi-Function (-7a) mechanism keeps the controls to what people actually use, seat height, back height, seat depth, and a seat and back tilt that locks anywhere in its travel rather than at fixed stops.

The price shown is for the armless chair in Grade 1 fabric. Arms are chosen on this page, from the Arm dropdown: KR-25 height-adjustable T-arms (1D motion, 2.75" of height travel, fixed width) add $40.00; KR-200 removable T-arms (2D motion, 2.75" of height travel plus 1.25" of width per side) add $66.00; and KR-540 arms (4D+ motion, 2.75" of height travel, 3.25" of width per side, with a six-way omni-directional arm top) add $112.00.

The fabric grade you pick applies to the seat upholstery, the back is mesh, and the YS-72 is not restricted to one grade. Grade 1 is included in the price; Grade 2 adds $13.00, Grade 3 $26.00, Grade 4 $39.00 and Grade 5 $52.00. Three leathers are also offered, LG1 Evita at $95.00, LG2 Lena at $104.00 and LG3 Volcano at $114.00, and each grade carries its own color range, selected alongside it. Some assembly may be required.
