Paramount PT-78 Med-Lg Stature
The Office Master Paramount PT-78 is the larger-frame chair in the Paramount range, a fully upholstered task chair built for medium to large statures, with a 19.5" wide, 22" tall back and a 21" wide seat. Where the PT-74 is scaled for smaller and average builds, the PT-78 is the one to specify when the sitter needs more back behind them.
The PT-78 is also the model in this pair that carries an adjustable lumbar support, and on a back this tall that is the detail that matters. A 22" backrest only does its job if the support lands where the sitter's own lumbar curve actually is; on the PT-78 the lumbar prominence moves to meet it rather than assuming it. Around that, the Full Multi-Function (-8a) mechanism sets back angle and seat angle independently, the back adjusts for height and the seat slides for depth.

Arms are chosen on this page, from the Arm dropdown: KR-25 height-adjustable T-arms (1D motion, 2.75" of height travel, fixed width) add $40.00; KR-200 removable T-arms (2D motion, 2.75" of height travel plus 1.25" of width per side) add $66.00; and KR-540 arms (4D+ motion, 2.75" of height travel, 3.25" of width per side, with a six-way omni-directional arm top) add $112.00.
Fabric is chosen on this page too, and the PT-78 is not restricted to one grade. Grade 1 is included in the price; Grade 2 adds $17.00, Grade 3 $33.00, Grade 4 $49.00 and Grade 5 $65.00. Three leathers are also offered, LG1 Evita at $160.00, LG2 Lena at $176.00 and LG3 Volcano at $192.00, and each grade carries its own color range, selected alongside it.
