SpaceArm Single Monitor Arm

The SpaceArm SA01 from Adapt Global (formerly SpaceCo) is the standard single-monitor arm in the SpaceArm range, one screen, full ergonomic positioning, and a desk you get back. It is the straightforward choice for seated desk work: benching, open plan, private offices, and any workstation where the monitor stand is eating the space in front of the keyboard.

The arm runs on a counterbalanced gas spring, so the screen stays where you put it and moves with one hand rather than a knob. It gives 14" of vertical travel, 7" above and 7" below the hub center, and reaches out up to 22", which is the range that matters: enough height to get the top of the screen near eye level for most people at a fixed-height desk, and enough depth to push the monitor back to a comfortable viewing distance or pull it in for detail work. Pushed back out of the way, it folds to a 2.5" depth.

Mounting and options

Mount type. The C-clamp grips the back edge of the worksurface and needs no drilling, which is the right answer for most desks and for anything leased. Bolt-through passes a fixing down through an existing grommet hole or one you drill, sits flush, and leaves the rear edge clear, choose it for thick tops or where a clamp jaw would foul a modesty panel.

If you need the screen to rise to standing height as well, the sit-stand SS01 version of this arm uses a 45-degree extension that adds close to 4" of height and takes an optional taller riser. Adapt Global also offers grommet, wall, column, and slatwall mounts for the SA01 on request.
